With bulbs like the PF1 (above), the card washer should be removed and the bulb contact wires carefully exposed. With an AG1, the wires can just be bent away from the body of the bulb.	Bulb and battery A simple way to manually fire smaller bulbs (especially those with wire contacts) is by using a simple wire and battery. Use croc clips to clip to the bulb wires on the bulb, hold by the wire (NOT the bulb) and touch the other end of the wires to the battery contacts. Braver and more dextrous souls might like to try this with bayonet or ES bulbs - hint hold the bulb by the METAL BASE only!
